Hey Team...

Hope you are having a great week!

This was a busy one for me... but not working... more as a "reset" week..

What is a reset week?

Simple. A scheduled week, not a vacation, where you work at your own pace...

Goals are loose, objectives are clear but not pending, and you have time to balance work, play, and most importantly, getting healthy.

I have been pretty go, go, go over the past several months.. and really wanted to "get things done" this week... without vacationing... so, hence, the Reset Week..

How does it work? What are the rules of the Reset Week?

1. One Objective Per Day...Give yourself only one thing you "have to do" for the day that is work/ goal related.... (once you accomplish this, you are done for the day)

2. Daily Workouts... AM/PM-- Since we are resetting.. we also need to reset our health.. During these weeks, I do a morning session of cardio/ weight training and an evening session of just cardio or distance walking...

3. Clean Eats... Cut the sugar, up the water, limit that starch carbs, increase the fruits and veggies...

4. Sleep it Off... I went to bed at 9:30pm last night... increased activity = more sleep needed... 

5. Recreation and Fun... yesterday... I went to see a new movie starring my favorite actor.. Denzel... mid day matinee.. amazing.. The Equalizer 2.. GUILT FREE...

During Spring Training each year, our days were short.. Most were done by 2pm... and I used to head over to grab a bite to eat and a movie with Derek Jeter and Jorge Posada most days... .

It was great because it was hot outside, cold in the theatre.. and empty... a great recipe for true relaxation...

I try to build these RESET Weeks in every few months... and they work... sort of like the Stay-Cation..

Believe it or not.. this is a Champion Habits... 

Knowing your body... 

Listening to it..

Caring for your machine...

The more you understand how your body works.. the better you will feel over time and the more productive you will be...

So many Leaders, CEOs, Athletes, and Entrepreneurs pound their body way too hard... and over time.. this leads to breakdown of the systems... Nervous System = Fatigue, Stress, Anxiety, and Panic are the results of a body and mind that are pushed too hard...

Ease up.

The results are in the strategy and the boundaries...

Ease up. You will make up the difference in "less" time... 

You are not losing but gaining...

Trust the process...

Renew yourself with a RESET.
