Hey Team-

I did a coaching call with a client yesterday and we went head on when it came to talking "mindset"....

His mindset needed a shake up.....

Optimism, positivity, and "hope"... all being undermined by a handicapped subconscious mind...

His topical thoughts were great...

Engaged, hungry, passionate about helping people and changing the world...

But his underlying psychology was plagued by "trying to be perfect"... feeling the need to create the "perfect" plan before being able to lean-in and GET AFTER IT!

My first question was:

Do you trust yourself?

Answer = YES

Do you feel you are as competent as you will ever be with your subject matter?

Answer = YES

Do you agree, that since you are a Consultant, building your business is all about relationships?

Answer = YES

Then what is your issue man? What is the problem? Why are you not out meeting people and swimming in the same waters as the sharks you are looking to do business with?

Answer = DOES NOT TRUST SELF.

Fear.

Fear creates the hesitation...

This is the real reason why people fail before they get started.

They are TOPICALLY CONFIDENT...

Meaning, on the surface, they are killers... they have the IT factor on the surface... but their underlying psychology is handicapped...

We used to say in baseball, dumb guys make the best players because they are not smart enough to over-analyze and handicap themselves...

Same is true in sports, life, and business...

Analysis outside of: What do I want to do? Who do I want to do it for? Where are these people? What will I offer? and What will I charge for what I offer? is all you really need... (to get started)....

Whatever you are looking to do... keep it simple.

Get started.

The first step is the most important step....

Whether we are talking about your career, your diet, your workout, your quest to better your relationship... it all starts with a first step...

DO.

Take Action.

That is the key...

The DO-ING will produce a result...

Not doing will create stress, anxiety, and self- defeating thoughts...

You MUST get in the game in order to win....

Changing your subconscious psychology starts with mini victories..

My question for you today is simple...

What can you do today (small step), that can produce a small win for you?

A win that you can look at and smile...

A win that you can say, "That felt good, I want to do that again tomorrow"

I believe that as a whole, we have a forgot how to win. Winning has become bad or an ego driven event.. and that is wrong.

Win for you. Win for your family. Win for the better life you deserve. Winning is not just about beating others... Winning is about beating your own demons.. and putting a punishing to those negative thoughts that undermine you and your subconscious...

Winning can kill negative thinking.

If you can win enough times... those mini-victories can auto-correct all those fears taking you from a place of chronic subconscious defeat to a place of perpetual optimism....

This is your day.

Go WIN IT.
