Hey Team...

I wanted to write to you today about a very simple concept: Having a Plan.

Now, when you read that, you may be saying: "I have a plan Coach, obviously"...

But do you?

Here is what I mean....

When I ask clients that I coach, and those who I speak with:

"What does winning mean to you?

OR, How do you define winning for yourself?"....

SO many are unable to articulate with detail what that means....

And, if you can not articulate the answers to those questions, how could you possibly have a real plan? A plan that is built for you- based on your current goals and initiatives.

Here is the thing with plans... we all need one.

It must be specific to you.

It must be dynamic.

It must take into consideration your habits, preferences, desires, capacities, resources, and abilities. 

That is how you create a plan that works. 

Thinking you have a plan vs. actually having one that is specific and curated to you are two different things.

One of my clients, a healthcare magnate gave me some amazing advice a few years ago....

I asked him, "How do you approach meetings?"....

He said, "Coach- I always go in with a clear plan and lock in on the objectives I want to achieve. When you go to a meeting, you must have your own agenda. You must not just attend meetings for the sake of attending meetings.

Always have a clear objective- and when you do, go in there and attack that. Also, do it fast because time is to important to waste."

WOW.

How many meetings do you call or sit in that just drag-out and have very little clarity?

I read a story years ago about the Company, Polaris who has standing meetings, no longer than 15 minutes, and are built around 1-clear objective. Staying very singular.

Plan the meeting.

Plan the plan based on objectives.

Finally, here is the truth: You need multiple plans for each part of your life.. but keep them simple. Get singular once again.

  • Health, Fitness, Nutrition Plan
  • Relationship Plan
  • Personal Growth Plan
  • Business/ Career Plan
  • Legacy Plan

These plans should be connected and truly have the Power to Change your life....

Especially when you consider your LEGACY PLAN...

How do you want to be viewed by the World....

Known by the World....

Trusted by the World....

Through each of your actions... think Legacy.

As you attack each day... think Legacy.

When you interact with people... think Legacy.

A plan is the key to your happiness, success, and confidence....

Create one and ATTACK IT!
