Hey Team...

Well, it happened.

We got some snow last night... first real one of the season here in NY... and, it was actually nice. I find snow to be somewhat relaxing (especially when I do not have to drive)....

For me, it means early to bed and lots of rest... which is good because when I am "ON"..I am 100% full-throttle. So, the rest has been something I have really worked hard to put into my personal playbook and game-plan.

As we go on this high performance journey together, I hope you realize the same is probably true for you.

If you want to go 100%, you also need to rest 100% contrary to what many modern day entrepreneurial influencers may say....

And, if you think you are going to fall behind, I wanted to share a quick story on an amazing client I have... her name is Kristin....

We started our journey together last year.

This was her story...(I hope you don't mind!)

She was working really hard as a sales executive, doing really well, but feeling a bit tired, burnt out, and actually feeling like she was falling really behind personally (health, fitness, nutrition, time with family)...

Like most executives and leaders, when we first start working together, they are so OFF-BALANCE that they can not imagine taking more time for themselves.

It is usually just a pipe dream- or perfect world, sounds good scenario. 

Over our year together, we battled on many topics in a good way.. working hard together to get results.

Starting with no laptop or work after 5pm... that is family time, and cooking time because that is her passion.....

Then, we determined a perfect week of exercise....

It was (2)- 30m Personal Training Sessions, (1)-Cardio day, and (1) massage per month... 

As for nutrition... if she were to eat home 4-nights per week, doing what she loves (cooking), she would not only feel better because of the food quality, but she would be having more joy in her life as a result....(along with a happy husband- because what man does not love some home cooking!)....

Now, she made much more time for herself this year....and reduced the guilt of not working as much....(and by not working as much, she is still working a full week, working hard, but has become much more efficient and economical with her time)

No longer working after 5pm, infusing more personal time with her family, and as a result, she had a career year.

She is a seasoned pro in sales, but really outdid herself this year. Her best year yet (for her personally and her team)... they all won together. That is leadership. 

Today, I write this to not only share an amazing story with you (and hopefully very motivating)... but also to tip my cap to an amazing woman, who really did something amazing this year.

I am just fortunate enough to be along for the ride with her as she exceeds her own potential month over month....

Today's message is for you Kristin. You brought your A-GAME.
