I have this philosophy.. the better your health, the better you fitness, the better your chances for success...
In my most recent Episode of Project X with Brandon Steiner (video above), we discussed health and fitness.. and what it takes to pace yourself to get the results that you want..
SO many people out there, after having a false narrative with themselves for possibly years about their physical state and condition, usually around January 1st make the decision to jump "all-in" on a training program..
They hit it hard for a few weeks (pacing hard).. then.. boom.. they fizzle out..
They set an unrealistic expectation and pace for themselves..
Instead of looking at each week, scheduling 2-3 training days, and doing that week after week.. and then building their life around those days..
Most people decide they will go until they "drop".. or until they just "stop" going.. and that is a plan that will derail your results before you start..
Plan your results. Failing to plan, is planning to fail- right Riley?
But the reality is this, what if you understood the relationship between your training and success.
Career success. Business success. Marriage success. Life success... do you think you would look at training differently?
They train during the season so they can make it through the season at that high level...
How in God's name do you think you can make it through your life without preparing and training for it?
That is just delusion..
It makes no sense..
Outside of relying on Luck and a Miracle..
You have NO CHANCE...
You have to be FIT TO WIN..
If you could take the time today to understand this reality..
The better your physical condition and shape... the better your chances are for success...
Again, if you want to go out and make more money, you must be fit to do so..
Yes.. there is a need to have a certain level of intelligence.. but even those with higher levels of ability will fail if they can not ENDURE mentally and physically what it takes to play the longest game of all.. LIFE..
So.. before you set out on an unsustainable, thunderous pace.. realize it is better attack the long game with planned training sessions, planned rest, and a strategic daily plan that will endure your are FIT TO WIN.
