Hi Team...

I have a special message for you today...

It is a simple one: Stay Open, Excited, and Ready...

You know, it is easy to get defensive, contracted, disappointed, and knocked back on your heels...

I mean, negativity is everywhere... we just have to make sure it is not spending too much time in our heads...

Notice how I wrote "too much" time...

It is impossible to live a life free of negativity because that would not be a clear reflection of the realities of life...

Things are going to happen..

But, we must make sure that our Positive: Negative Ratio is in check...

Keeping a Positivity: Negativity Ratio of at least 3:1 is essential...

Have you ever had something go wrong and it seems like nothing goes right after that?

That is because your ratio is off.. more than likely you are a 3 (NEGATIVE) : 1 (POSITIVE) in your ratio...

So, it would make sense that negative momentum is building and you start to expect the worst...

You worry about that next deal not coming through....

You fear that you are going to lose somebody close to you...

You await the negative report...

You live in a state of anxiousness...

These are all symptoms of your RATIO being off...

You may have heard a lot of talk lately about the word: GRATITUDE.

I believe this a tremendously overused word.. but it has become that way because people have been living in the wrong ratio.. and daily gratitude practice allows the ratio to strengthen in favor of the positive.

Many today are struggling to see the light...

They are struggling to see victory because of the times...

But the reality is, they struggle because of themselves...

They struggle to see victory because they are not focused on victory- they are focused on defeat... loss.. scarcity..

SO what do we do?

We fill our POSITIVITY Bucket Daily...

It is the only way...

You can do this at 3 different intervals during the day:

1. Upon Waking Up

2. Mid-Day

3. Before Bed

Here is how the process works...

First, you are going to manually write a list of 10-12-things that you are really happy about in your life.. Past, Present, and Future...

So that should break down to about 3 or 4 items in each category...

Now, this list becomes something you look at during the three time intervals above..

"But Coach, I don't have time for that."

B.S.- You have time.

And, the reality is you can not afford not to take the time because your future health, happiness, and success depends on it.

You can write these on a small index card and keep that with you in your wallet or on your desk.

Over time, you will memorize these items and add others...

This is your daily roll call that is strictly designed to strengthen the POSITIVITY Side of your ratio...

Now, is this something that can be seen as extreme or excessive?Yup.

We need it though.

The negativity around us is typically very extreme and aggressive so we combat that with a functional daily exercise and training technique like this...

This is how we strengthen our mindset.... and develop the Champions Mindset...

Got it?

So, get started today and make your list....

Ready it daily and you will see you are changing the plasticity of your brain by strengthening positive thoughts and emotions!
