So, yesterday I had several coaching calls with clients and the topic was Leadership.
But not just the leadership that is spoken about in the Leadership section of Barnes & Noble or the latest podcast...
Leadership as it relates to YOU, YOUR LIFE, and YOUR FAMILY.
Yup.
Leadership in the areas that matter...
You see, so many today are hyper-focused on being a great leader at work.. that they forget to lead the most important parts of their life...
That leaves them eventually depleted AND not as good at their work...
So, as we are thinking about 2020 Leadership, I want you to have a vision for LEADING in all areas of your life..
If you are overweight, out-of-shape, depressed, tired, burnt-out, and passionless- realize this is simply a SELF-LEADERSHIP PROBLEM...
You made choices to forgo focusing on leading yourself well in the areas that matter most...
Again, Leadership today is always spoken about as an "External, Lead Others" affair, but it must start with YOU.
It must start at home.
You must lead yourself, lead your family, and lead your life.
When you do those 3-things, leading at work becomes much easier...
Got it!
Now, I am off to the gym.. to LEAD MYSELF to better health and fitness...
