Another week in the books!
With 6-Friday's left in 2020...
I wanted to remind you of something...
At the end of the day today, I need you to tally your wins for the week...
Be less focused on the things you did not get done... and more focused on the things you did...
Let me tell you why..
When you think about what you DID NOT get done, how do you feel about yourself?
When you think about what you DID get done, how do you feel about yourself?
See the difference.
When we think about what we DID NOT get done- we don't feel so great about ourselves- and, as a result, we feel like the week was not a great week... and, then we spend the weekend in mental jail.
When we think about we DID get done- it illustrates progress, growth, success- and time well spent during the week.
As a result- we feel really good about what we did, our accomplishments, and then we spend the weekend with a sense of calm..
It really is that simple.
I suggest reconciling your week each Friday at the close your day...
Be proud of what you got done..,
What I do is actually reconcile each day...
Being that I am such an ENERGY guy- I need my energy to be peak each day...
I do that by focusing on my wins each day...
If I do not- I too can end up in mental jail and bring the frustrations of not getting things done to the next day... and that is not the way to have a great day...
SO, remember: How you think, determines how you feel, which determines how you perform.
Today, I am sharing with you a simple strategy you can use to feel great about yourself in real time...
And as I said, when you feel great about YOU, it always determines how YOU perform.
