Hi Team...

Do you feel guilty when you are not up at a certain time?

Do you feel guilty when you miss the gym or workout you scheduled?

Do you feel guilty when you are not as productive as you should be?

Well, if you are like many high performers, the answer is yes.

Maybe not by the standard definition of guilt, but, by missing the above you feel not so good about yourself...

And, if you feel not so  good about yourself for too many days in a row, well, you start to feel weaker... a slight drop in confidence in exchange for frustration...

This is a common theme I see amongst many of the high performers I Coach...

But, there are some that reach a point of "not doing IT" so much, meaning working out, eating right, planning, adhering to their scheduled events, that they almost get used to NOT doing it, and their new self becomes on of " I will do it eventually"....

Well, here is the deal...

When eventually comes, they are in piss poor shape...

They are usually SO IMMERSED in their business, that by the time eventually comes, what would of been only a few pounds of weight gain is 10+...

Energy levels "are just not what they used to be"....

Their diet is often so far off the rails that the primary food source they are indulging in is carbs... which are ultimately sugars...

Alcohol levels elevate...and dessert becomes a multiple night thing....

Now, this may you be you, or this may be some variety of you...

But, we can stop it.

We can stop it by: GIVING YOURSELF PERMISSION.

You see, what gets so many TYPE-A, high performers to this place is actually fatigue....

Not enough scheduled "do-nothing days".. like 1- per week... say it is Sunday...

The CLASSIC high performers if they are not doing, they are thinking....

And the energy expenditure on thinking is really high... it is draining and depleting...

Thinking at this level can also cause time to lapse... often times leaving you wondering where the day, week, month, or year went....

That "transformation" you were after is gone...

It did not happen...

It was supposed to start Monday... or January 1st... but those days have come and gone....

So, today, I want you to really take a hard look at your schedule, and decide when are you going to take that vacation to recharge, or, that 3-day weekend, or which day of the week are you going to give yourself permission to take as an OFF-DAY....

Time with family...

Time bettering your body...

Time reading to strengthen your mind...

Time to just screw around and have a little fun...

Take the day...

Your body and mind can use a break from the rigidity and constant thinking....

Do not worry... you will not lose your edge by taking a day...

Success will still find you....

It really wants to....

Give it a chance to find your best self....

Let's GO!
