Hey Team..

Hope you all had an awesome weekend!

This was a fun one for me... 

My wife and I spent the night with our friends on Saturday in Fairfield, CT... watching baseball, having some sushi, and just laughing about "STUFF"...

My friend was an MLB Pitcher.. so watching a game with him is a learning experience in itself....

Then, Sunday, my wife and I made a decision...

We decided to take it to the next level...

We both have been feeling like there is more we can do... so we decided we were going to commit to "Better"... 

The 2.0 Version of ourselves as it related to health, fitness, and food discipline... 

I know.. sounds extreme... but it really isn't...

As we get "older"... we realized that without our health... what do we really have?

AND, the question(s) that drove the "decision" were...

What is our "Best" possible state of health?

What would it look like if we achieved it?

How would we feel?

Now, did we commit to a marathon? Nope.

Did we commit to only eating twigs and berries? Nope.

We committed to "winning" each meal... and a "sweat-a-day"... 

These are 2-core philosophies I used with my MLB Players for years....

That is the beginning and the foundation for building greatness....

Focused on body weight? Nope. 

Focused on body fat? Nope.

Focused on weighing food, counting calories, and studying heart rate? Nope.

Those things are great.. but not realistic for most.

So, if we follow the plan of "winning" each meal.. and a "sweat-a-day"... the rest will take care of itself... 

Week 1- Body starts to junk some "junk-weight"...

Week 2- Energy starts to elevate...

Week 3- Skin begins to feel tighter...

Week 4- Another weight drop....

Week 5- This "way of being" becomes a habit....

Week 6- All of the above begin to compound....

In 6-weeks we are different people....

In just 6-weeks, major improvements...

It just takes a few weeks to really re-focus, and re-direct the ship....

That is it....

Now, Week 1 is always the most challenging because your body is expecting what you have been "giving" it...  

After that though, it is smooth sailing... when you have "accountability"... 

AKA.. The Power of Coaching... (this is my favorite part about coaching.. the accountability)

I am challenging you today to sit down and really think about the 2.0 version of yourself...

Over the past few weeks, I have met so many people, especially over 40, looking for more out of their life... out of their career.... 

It can happen... 

There is more...

It just starts with a decision....
