Hey Team!

Sorry for the negative headline today!

But.. it is really the truth...

I was reading something this morning.. that said:

You are either currently dealing with a problem, getting ready to face one, or you have just gotten out of a problem..

It is pretty accurate.

That is the natural cycle of life...

As Vincent Norman Peale once said, "Problems are a symbol of life... if you don't want any problems, head over to a cemetery."

So what do we do?

Deal with it?

Accept it?

Or, how about "TRAINING FOR IT?"

You see, how much time are we putting aside for actually training our mindset?

How do you train your mindset Coach?

Well, it starts with:

I was walking through NYC yesterday, and I could not tell you how many people had their earbuds in, and were totally unaware of what was going on around them.. and definitely not "present" enough to understand their own thoughts and habitual thought patterns...

If you have so much "noise" and "movement" going on, you miss what is actually happening to you and around you.

You miss what you are hearing, feeling, thinking... and ultimately, you are not able to "listen/feel" your gut... which can really effect you ability to make good decisions!

This is why so many are walking around passionless, confused, and left "trying to figure it out"....

Problems can not all be solved.. but understanding how you are thinking/ approaching a problem can really help you get through it..

Accepting that most things you can not control, yet relying on your internal dialogue, coaching, and conversation can help you overcome all things... (well, most things)....

So, if you are feeling scared, fearful, insecure... take some time today to really think about your thoughts....

Are they Positive? Negative? Faith-filled?

What are the Patterns of your thoughts?

Basically, "What the hell are you telling yourself in each moment?"

If it is good stuff.. you will overcome and be ok...

If it is bad stuff... you will find that problems can really knock you down...

Again, you have to actually train your thought life.. much like your physical body to see improvements...

It is not easy.. because it requires a whole lot of presence.. and in the moment awareness...

So, slow down. Keep your mind slow rather than letting it get on the Runaway Train thought roller coaster...

Stay in the moment.. feed the monster positivity... stay above the horizon line.. and you will prevail over all things....

Let's GO!

Chase Greatness.
