Hey Team!
Playoff time is here in the NBA...
Two of the leagues top players will face off...
A real battle of guts, ability, talent, ego, & swag...
But the underlying ingredients are training & preparation...
Lebron James as we know, pays over 1.5 Million Dollars per year keeping himself ready to play...
Steph Curry... relies heavily on improving his "neuro-cognitive efficiency"... focusing heavily on reaction training via strobe googles and allowing his sensory nervous system to take a break by using "float therapy"... (a new, yet old therapy from the 80s in which the athlete floats in water containing a few tons of salt in an open pool or pod)...
Lebron, a brute force. Step, a man of finesse and strategized efficiency.
Two different athletes.
Two different methods of training.
Who wins?
Lebron is stronger.
Steph is quicker.
Both are tremendous athletes that "fire" on completely different levels.. but are both two of the most elite performers of our era...
The reality is this...
The game will not come down to physical play...since both are physically ready... and will put everything on the line...
It will come down to the ability to remain calm, controlled, and un-aroused as the pressure of the game elevates...
This is a state of "flow"..
Whichever player is "flowing" at crunch time will drive their team towards an NBA Championship...
Reaching flow state is the key here...
Reaching flow state is a magical place where all of your physical preparation and mental readiness come together at just the right time...
How do you get there?
1. Prepare using a program that is right for you...
2. Place as much focus on your mental "training" and "relaxation strategy" as you do your physical training...
3. Deploy the above strategies as you experience levels of pressure throughout your day....
Creating a quiet mind in the height of battle is the key to optimizing performance...
Something the most elite athletes can do with frequency...
Something that even the "worst" of pro athletes are able to tap into as needed...
A skill that most people are not equipped with...
This is the differentiator..
So, I do not have the answer on who will take home the jewels of the NBA Playoffs... but I do know that both of these horses are ready to run like it is the final stretch of the Belmont Stakes...
They will be ready...
The question comes down to who will be in flow...
