Hi Team...
Over the past few weeks, I have come across people in so many different "states of mind"...
Some are enjoying the down time because they planned for a rainy day...
Others are really stressed and anxious because they did not plan for the rain...
But, here is the thing.. neither party knew it would "rain" this long...
And because of that, many are effected and feeling the negative blues as a result...
Being on lock-down is good for a weekend or two to gather yourself, but, extended times of having the things you enjoy unavailable to you can make even the most sane of minds have some deeper questions....
That is why today I wanted to speak to you about MindShifting...
What is it?
Think of a 5-speed, manual shifting car...
To go faster, you shift upward...
To go slower, you shift downward...
Well, MindShifting works the same way but you are applying it to your mind (obviously) and using the concept/ idea of shifting to move thoughts either forward or backwards... at either a fast speed or slow speed...
You are using the SHIFT in order to keep yourself calm.. or get yourself excited...
Let's just say you are feeling really stressed about "being stuck at home"....
The thought enters your mind...
As it enters your mind, think about downshifting it....
Slowing it down...
Then, upshifting, and accelerating towards a healthier, better, positive, serving thought....
For many, well, you will be shifting a lot during the day!
I know this may seem like a wacky concept... but, it really does work...
Since the mind works in habitual patterns, the thought of shifting, and moving towards something good is a really good idea and one that can re-establish new patterns and habits of thought... which ultimately lead to new feelings...
Got it?
Embrace the shift.
It allows you to take moments of fear and difficulty and turn them into moments of joy and favor!
Make sense?
So, today... MindShift your way to victory!!!
Let's GO!
