Hi Team...
Before I head off to the gym today I wanted to write to you...
Today, I wanted to share with you my thoughts on Leading With Dominance....
Now, there are two parts to leading with dominance....
1. Leading Yourself with Dominance by understanding your most dominant thoughts...
2. Leading Others with Dominance....
Both are intertwined...
Hear me out.
We have thoughts going all day long...
Some we are aware and conscious of... and others, we are not.
Let me give you an example....
I am a prepared, optimist... (so I thought)...
Yet, last week, while traveling in the car with my wife I began speaking about the "what if's" in life....
She listened and said, "Wow, that was really negative."....
But for me, I never thought of what I was saying that way...
I saw it as my preparing myself for "whatever" could happen in the future....
So, my dominant thoughts are actually worrisome...
Or, based on deeper levels of fear than I thought.. masked in preparedness.
I never would have known this if it was not pointed out...
If I continue my dominant thoughts of fear and worry.. masked in preparedness, I would never be the most powerful Leader and person I could be...
Got it?
What are your dominant thoughts?
Dominant emotions?
(Write Them Down)....
Now, as today's writing relates to being a Dominant Leader...
You can not be a Dominant Leader if you have not already dominated yourself in a healthy way...
This simply means: If you are an unstable mess- it will be very hard for you to lead others to their MAX Potential...
Because... leading others to their max potential at times requires you to show dominance of self, situation, and at times, those you lead until they can take their training wheels off, build enough confidence, and truly challenge their deepest most dominant emotions and thoughts....
You see, the way I look at leadership is that it is the leaders job to be what their people do not have for them, until their people "Get It"...
But Coach, that is a huge ask.
Shouldn't I just hire people that have their sh%t together?
Yes..
You should.
If you find that person, let me know.
I Coach the best of the best... all day long.. and every single person has needs that I help them fill, find, and conquer...
Over time, they find their way and become dominant over these needs... and then a new need pops up..
Dominance is necessary to help them find their way at times...
Dominance can also be seen as conviction...
As a Coach, I am convicted in who they can be, will be, and the information I am feeding them!
That ability to become a Dominant Leader, and, to truly be a Dynamic Leader starts with you discovering and dominating your most dominant thoughts, patterns, and emotions....
Then, and only then do you free yourself of any resistance!
Let's go!
Lead your self and your people to victory!
Your Coach,
COACH DANA CAVALEA
