Hi Team...

Well, to be honest, I have been up since about 3am today.

So, what better thing to do than get up and get going.

Maybe the 3-days off I took for my birthday did what they were supposed to do....

Recharge me!

Now I am hitting the ground running and ready to go....

I feel really excited.

Really pumped.

Ready to share.

Today, I want to share with you my thoughts on Habitual Thinking.

What is habitual thinking?

Well, it is the repetitive themes, patterns, and ways of thinking we engage in most frequently.

The question is: Are these themes positive or negative and are they serving you?

When I coach and individual that has had the same results for years- no change in status, title, income- this is ALWAYS the result of how they think...

Because how we think determines how we feel.

And, how we think + how we feel determines what we do.

And, how we think + how we feel + what we do determines our results...

This is actually how the Champions Success Formula works....

How You Think + How You Feel + What You Do = Your Results.

Thinking is a habit.

  • You are either thinking right or you are thinking wrong.
  • You are either thinking big or thinking small.
  • You are either thinking about risk or you are thinking about safety.
  • You are either thinking about what you could do or what could happen to you.
  • You are either thinking about the best case or the worst case.

Got it?

These are all themes...

When I Coach, I see themes.

I hear themes.

I break themes.

It is these same themes that most feel so damn comfortable going back to and defaulting to.

These are the themes that cost many freedom both emotionally and financially.

You must break your Habitual Thinking to unlock what you are truly capable of....

The pattern you engage in most is your most comfortable pattern- therefore, you will find yourself back there if you do not change...

If you are overweight, you have habitual thinking around food choice and exercise.

If you are lacking the income you want, you have habitual thinking around what you are capable of, what you are open to, and what you choose to take action on.

If you are lacking the growth you want, you have habitual thinking surrounding what you are comfortable with vs. what you are not comfortable with and often find struggle moving towards progressive discomfort..

The key to break habitual thinking is to realize what you are thinking...

What are the themes?

What emotions do these themes provoke within you?

Once you can identify these things, you can then work to rewrite them...

The steps are simple:

1. Identify

2. Understand

3. Re-write

These 3-steps must happen daily until a new pattern of Habitual Thinking is born....

Let's go to work on this....

Please.

It is the only way to truly maximize potential.

Let's go out and win today....

After all, there are only 11 Monday's left in 2021....
