Hi Team...

We all know the term Jekyll Hyde personality, right?

What if I told you we all have this personality trait...

Would you believe it?

Let's say...

Jekyll is good...

Hyde is bad...

Both of these personalities exist within all of us...

The questions become:

  1. What are the traits of our personality that are Jekyll & which are  those of Hyde?
  2. Which one do we honor most?

Think about your life, your days, and your patterns of thought....

What do you tell yourself?

The personality you feed is the one that thrives...

I want to talk about business for a minute...

For those who are in business.. it is always the tale of two monsters....

There is the side of business when things are going amazing and as a result, you feel amazing. The frustrations you had are still there, but, because things are going so well you have put them on the back burner.....

But, when things are not going well, well, it feels like the world is ending and you just can not seem to break that swirling tornado of negativity...

Why?

Negative results often attract more negative thoughts...

Positive results are often the cure for negative thoughts...

This is why momentum is so important in anything we do...

The smallest of wins can attract the wave of positive results and you can ride it as long as you keep yourself in that headspace....

The same is true for negative...

You can be trapped in the negative wave if you choose to keep yourself there...

And you do that by focusing on all the things that are not going right...

  • All the things you are not doing right...
  • All the things  that were supposed to work out but did not...
  • All the people that did you wrong..

Get the point?

Last week, I was working out doing a 1-hr sports based training camp workout...

Very quickly I realized I was making it harder on myself...

Why?

I was in a bad headspace while doing a good thing!

I could not wait for it to be over...

I was telling myself how hard it is...

I was telling myself I do not feel like doing this..

All negative, Hyde based thinking.

As soon as I reminded myself of how amazing I feel when I am done...

How strong, powerful, lean, and confident I feel from doing it... everything changed.

The workout became exciting and easier almost instantaneously.

Think about where in life you struggle the most...

What is your headspace?

Are you approaching things as Jekyll or as Hyde?

This lesson is so important because it will keep you moving forward with optimism, poise, excitement, and will reinforce the positives over and over.. keeping you in this state for a long time....

If you suffer from mood swings... well, just remember you get more of the personality that you feed!

Let's go get it today!
