I hope you had a great holiday week with your families... (virtually or in person!)..
Yesterday, I went for a nice bike ride and was thinking about all of you and the lesson I wanted to share today...
That lesson is this: When is Enough, Enough?
Interesting question, right?
If you are a high performer, you may struggle even more with this question...
When is Enough, Enough?
It is one of the toughest questions to ask yourself....
Can you see how this thinking can keep you chasing?
Maybe that is a good thing for some.. but, for most, they always reach the point of enough when they realize: IT IS NEVER ENOUGH.
The World is abundant, and they want their piece.
They want as many pieces as possible.
Sort of like real life Monopoly.
So, what is my point?
Always in pursuit, yet never feeling fulfilled.
Always feeling a level of emptiness within you because you are waiting for those final puzzle pieces to complete the 1000 piece puzzle.
The reality is, once you finish that puzzle, another puzzle will show itself.
Make your life about knowing within your self that you are enough, you have enough, and the things you pursue do not complete you as you are already complete.
Those thing are nice to have, nice to build, and nice to go after.. but you do not need them to complete you.
You have it all.
You have what you need.
Distill life down to the basics and it really does come down to: shelter, food, family, relationships, love and a feeling of safety.
The rest is what confuses us and jams many of us up.
You are enough.
You have enough.
Enough is enough, once you know enough is never enough.
Have a great day!
