Hey Team- 

If you read my blog yesterday on Eating Good, Bad, Food....

Then, you are expecting this blog on Flushing Yourself After Eating Good, Bad, Food.....

So let's get right down to it...

When we eat certain foods... especially foods prepared at restaurants... you may feel yourself bloating, slowing down, feeling sluggish and fatigued, and even just feeling a true shift in your overall energy levels and mood....

So what do we do when we feel this?

  • Digestive Enzymes before eating... Pancreatin a really good choice.. this will help to break down the carbs, proteins, and fats you ingest... it basically acts as an assist to your digestive process
  • Hot Water with Lemon/ Fresh Ginger.. once again.. think of the mix of water and lemon as a power washer of you digestive track... so anything that is "sticking" along the intestines.. will be power-washed with the lemon water.. along with some alkalizing effects
  • Hot Baths with Epson/Bathing Salts when you feel your stomach bloat.. so once you feel your stomach bloat, set yourself a really hot bath, soak for 20 minutes, and you will feel the stomach go down...
  • Drink Aloe Water... George's Aloe Water is very soothing on an inflamed stomach and digestive track.. just drinking a few sips of this will again help keep things "calm and lubricated" after an inflammation outbreak...
  • Sauna/ Steam... another option if you are not into a hot bath.. introducing "heat" is a great way to get the body regulated again....and will speed up digestion and pushing the negatives along their way...
  • Low Intensity, Durational Cardio (Non-Impact)... once again, when we eat poorly, we want to speed up the digestive process and cellular metabolism.. this can occur with cardio, where you break a sweat, and at a pace that is not taking your breath away.. but keeps you moving.. and "processing"..

You can use one or all of the methods above when an outbreak occurs... 

Your body will appreciate you for "helping" it along...
