Hey Team..

Well.. you can see the theme this week of our blogs is Eating & Nutrition...

Why?

Well.. it's January...

Goal Month...

And this Year, 2019... We want it to be your BEST YEAR YET! (check out my new program called 2019-Your Best Year Yet!)

So, if we are going to talk about getting healthy... we gotta talk about Eating Clean...

 Clean. Clean. Clean.

Remember... why do we eat?

Usually it is for one of two reasons...

#1: For Fuel/ Energy....

#2: For Happiness & Joy & Stress Relief...

Now.. based on the above... which one will make you healthier and which will make you naturally "fatter"?

If you eat for joy and pleasure, you chances of over-consuming sugars and starches goes way up...

Your desire to eat baked goods, sweets, ice cream, etc. goes up because you are associating food with happiness.... rather than thinking about the main question:

HOW CAN I OPTIMALLY FUEL MY BODY FOR MAX PERFORMANCE?

What type of performance do we want?

  • Thought Clarity
  • Greater Energy
  • Stable Moods
  • Clear Skin
  • Smaller Waistline
  • Less Body Fat
  • Greater Metabolic Efficiency

If you can achieve the above... you will see drastic changes in your life...

I always say: ENERGY WINS.

The person with the greatest energy... sustainable, long-lasting energy always wins...

They can work longer and harder without fatigue...

They can train and not get exhausted as quickly...

They understand that Food is what allows them to optimize performance in life...

Amazing right?

The Power of Food.

Most know the negative effects of food: fatigue, mood swings, brain fog...

But.. many have not experienced the benefits above because they have not EATEN CLEAN long enough...

Challenge yourself.

Eat Clean for a month... a week... 

Remember.. the only way to do that is by stringing together one great day of eating followed by another... but that really breaks down to Winning One Meal at a time....

WIN THE MEAL.

What is eating clean? Eating lean meats, fish, poultry, fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds.

That is it.

No junk. No breads. No baked goods. No salty marinades. That is eating clean. Real Whole Foods.

My challenge to you this week is this: Can you eat clean for your next 10 meals?

Give it a shot...

Get your friends and family involved...

Do it as a team...

You will see the challenge is real..but the rewards are amazing....

Let food be thy medicine!
