Hi Team-

In sports, we have a saying, "Embrace The Suck", which simply means in order to hold a trophy over your head at the end of the season, you must be ready to battle.

Winning is a battle.

To be great at anything is a battle.

Are you ready?

That is exactly it.

Most people are not ready.

Not ready to give their all, do their best, and endure the resistance that will present itself.

So, instead, they quit.

They feel pressure and resistance and instead of shifting into a higher gear, they downshift and retreat.

This is common practice.
Then, they wonder why they never got to where they wanted to go.

They spend a lifetime sharing the reason(s) why they did not make it.

And, they also spend a lifetime talking smack about those who did.


Those who made the choice to Embrace The Suck and get to the other side where victory presents itself.

That is what I want from you.

  • I want you to fight.
  • I want you to give today all you got.
  • I want you to embrace the suck so you can feel what is like to be a Champion.

Because if you do not approach things this way- you, me, and everybody in between will almost all default to the easiest path of least resistance.

This is WHY I am so big on the daily pep talk.

Daily coaching and daily self-coaching to inspire, motivate, encourage, and push you through the suck that WILL show itself.

Do you see how I am letting you know that it WILL happen?

It will. Trust me.

But, you will be ready.

Why?

Because we are talking about it.

Most people are walking through life blind and thinking they won't take the hits and they are totally wrong.

They will take the hits and if they are not ready and not training for the "suck", then they will certainly be derailed longer than the person that is ready.

You will be ready.

That starts today.

Start by saying: I AM READY FOR WHATEVER COMES MY WAY...

Because I train by moving towards conflict, towards pressure, and towards resistance rather than turning my back on it and hoping it goes away.

That is what Champions do...

They run hard in the direction that most run from!
