Hi Team...

One of my favorite things to do is listen to the wisdom of people that have different experiences than I have had...

They come from different places...

They have seen different things than I have...

Their life experience has been totally different...

And that is what makes life so exciting!

Think of all the knowledge just sitting out there that is waiting to be engaged...

Well, for me, one of those people I really admire is a farmer from Central Missouri by the name of Greg Judy.

Greg is a not just a farmer though.

He is a regenerative rancher.

Meaning, what he does is use cattle to stimulate the growth of the land and yesterday, he joined me on my show, The Becoming a Champion Show.

He has an amazing youtube channel with 60k subscribers and millions of views and also runs an amazing  grazing school helping people get back into touch with the land and all it can provide us!

In our chat, we talked about how we have lost touch of the land...

When was the last time you touched mud?

Or, dug your hands into the soil?

Well, just those simple actions can help you build immunity.

He talked about how some of the healthiest, highly immune people in America are the Amish..

They do not have a Whole Foods nearby either :)

Instead, they eat a diet filled with meat, chicken, fruits and vegetables (and they know the farmer- so, they know their meat and produce is clean) and, they drink raw milk.

These (meat and dairy) are all things we are told are bad for us...

Raw milk?

No Coach- milk needs to be pasteurized.

Or, knowing the local farmer?

Coach, I live in NYC or San Fran or Miami- How can I get to know the local farmer? Well- you have to go out and explore!

They are out there- and your health depends on it.

One point that Greg Judy brought up that really hit home was how cows are fed grain and corn.. which makes them almost immediately acidic....

And then, we eat them.

Where does disease thrive? 

In acidic environments- HELLO!

What if our food supply is causing issues to our health?

You see- I am certainly not somebody that just lives to hike and eat granola all day, but, as a performance coach I am always looking for ways that my athletes and clients can modify their intake so they can get more energy out of themselves..

After all, energy wins.

Without energy- you almost certainly lose.

So, food sourcing and food supply are really important to understand.

Many of us want to jump to the next diet- but do we ever consider the source of our foods?

Well I hope after listening to Greg Judy and I you begin to take even the slightest interest...

Since most store bought product can be very misleading based on the labels...

Finally though- I do want to mention Greg's wonderful, laid back spirit that is powered by his LOVE for what he does...

And as he says, "If you are not loving what you are doing and completely passionate about it- stop doing it and find something that you are passionate about so you do not have to work a day in your life!"

Now, that is some great advice.

Anyway, I just wanted to share with you this truly inspiring message from Greg Judy and allow this farmer and the information he shared to change your life from the inside out!
