You know what pisses me off?
People taking the easy way out.
That drives me up a wall.
The easy way out is most often not facing things because they are hard- or at least they seem hard.
Having a tough conversation.
Digging in and taking a risk on a new business venture.
Not renewing a deal with somebody you are close with.
You have to have courage in this life.
You can not just sit around and let time take care of things because things will begin to stack within you emotionally.
Frustration will build.
Stress will build.
Anxiety will flourish.
Instead- combat it by being on the attack.
Go after things with velocity.
Whatever comes your way- handle it immediately with courage.
That is another performance secret.....
Most people are afraid to dig in and handle things- even the most tenured leaders.
So, if you are not afraid to dig in and handle things- you have a competitive advantage.
Think of yourself as a goalie.
Nothing gets through your net without being addressed- like a pro.
How do Pros address things?
Today is your day to attack.
Get in the ring and attack what needs to be handled.
Don't pass off what you can handle yourself.
Don't pass off what involves you.
Don't squirm and take the easy way out- growth is not about the easy way, it is about the right way.
The right way is full throttle towards what needs to get done and what needs to be handled.
Be an offensive player- never defense.
