Hi Team....

This weekend I spent a lot of time outdoors....

Catching up on some "farm" stuff as we begin to experience weather change at the farm.. which means winter is not too far away and we have to get the animals, facilities, and equipment prepped for the colder temps...

This means a lot of time to think.....

And, when it comes to thinking, as many of you know, you can either think yourself to a good place or a not so good place.

Personally, whenever I do work with my hands, it puts me in an optimal mental state and I find myself entering a state of flow as a result of uplifted, can-do, positive thinking.

When I sit down on a couch and "try" to think, or force thought, it almost never takes me to the place I would like to go.

Can your relate?

Well, this is what I will be teaching to my coaching clients this week:

The Power of Repetition.

This is a truly powerful exercise and technique that can be used to over-ride your normal, typical, and oftentimes not encouraging thought process....

The way it works is this:

What we reinforce, strengthens.

Yet, very few of us cue up what it is we should be repeating!

We typically repeat default patterns that strengthen the sensations, emotions, and thoughts of RISK.

Be careful.

Watch out.

What if _____________.

What if this happens and ______.

You know, the typical fill in the blank game which is usually placing statements of worst case scenario stuff in the blanks.

I prefer to play and teach a different game.

Use the Power of Repetition to strength your can-do mindset.

  • I am going to _________________.
  • I will be successful because ________________.
  • I am prepared and ready because ___________.
  • This will work out because _____________.

Most people around you will not strengthen or validate this type of thinking, so, today, let me be your Coach and encourage you to take this action daily.

For some, it is important to right your POWER STATEMENTS down on a card and repeat them daily until YOU start to believe them.

This creates power, conviction, and strength.

The Power of Repetition is a mental practice that makes you very comfortable when it comes to the things you are mentally rehearsing.

That is how your game elevates.

The more you immerse yourself in something, the greater the comfort.

Last week, I was contemplating in my head purchasing a piece of real estate.

I called about 3 people I know and told them about it and all 3 did not give me their blessing but instead told me why it was not a good idea and would not workout.

They knew very little about the deal, but, emotionally they just could not get there in their mind to see the opportunity.

So,  I put in an offer and did it anyway.

Why?

Because I use the Power of Repetition daily to over-ride those who choose to live in fear, with hesitation, and in such a conservative manner that any sense of risk can seize their mental engine.

I am telling you- most people operate from this state.

Do not let their state become yours.

Use the Power of Repetition to override your doubts and the doubts of others...

You must cue the right thoughts and the right music if you want to win.

Start today.

Make the time to cue the right thoughts and use The Power of Repetition to make it happen.

Let's go.

Make a daily practice of it!
