Hey Team!

Happy Wednesday... the weeks sure do fly, right?

It is almost scary how fast time goes... I know we can all remember our parents saying that, but, it is true!

We are already approaching the midpoint of January... and, before we know it, summer will be here.

And, for some, before they know it, they will be retiring, or selling that business they have been building for 40 years, or receiving an award from their Company for 30 years on the job, or, maybe some will be sending their kids off  to college at the end of this year...

We are all at different places, but the above will be the reality for most of us at some point in our life..

Life keeps moving..

The World keeps spinning..

What will your contribution be?

One thing I talk to many of my coaching clients about is this: LEGACY.

What will your legacy be?

What will you be known for?

Now, will everybody become Mother Theresa, Steve Jobs, Derek Jeter, or other known public Legends? No.

But you can become a legend of your community, your workplace, your department, your company, your family....

That is what I am writing about today: LEGACY.

Building and creating your legacy.

You see, for too much of our lives we are on the "growth wheel"...

Focused on growth- building and elevating ourselves so we can buy what we want, live where we want, and have the status we want..

I will tell you this though..

Many who reach those accolades are often not excited...

They don't have that same fire they had on the way up...

So what do we do?

We focus on Building Legacy by changing their focus.

We coach them from "ME" to "WE".

We get them to deploy their resources which they have accumulated over the years and put them to good works... all focused on building.

They go from workers to builders.

Builders of communities, builders of their family, builders of the people around them, builders of entities that are catalysts for change.

The goal is to build legacy over time by good works, impactful works, and powerful exchanges of words, time, finances, and energy.

Coach, where are you going with this? Hear me out.

Self-serving is where many feel most comfortable.

Serving others is where people exchange comfort for true personal satisfaction.

As you are moving through your career, if you feel stagnant, stuck, working with less passion, or begin to approach your career as a "job"..

This one shift will change it all.

Invest in those around you.

Even though many may be resistant at first, you are focused on LEGACY.

So, do it anyway.

Legacy happens when we can BUILD,GROW, DEVELOP, AND TOUCH enough people through our works and exchanges.

Think about your past week, month, year...

How many people did you truly invest in?

How many people did you take to lunch or coffee with the intent of learning more about them... building them, growing them, developing them?

See what I mean...

Impact creates legacy.

Let's start today.

Let's GO!

Your Coach,
