Be Direct....

Hi Team...

One of my core coaching philosophies is being direct....

I believe that by being direct you put the cards that need to be put on the table, well, on the table.

Too often many shy away from this because they are worried about how the other party may respond...

But the truth is, if you are looking to move forward in your Champions Journey- you must be direct, you must put out there what needs to be put out there, and you must be ready to ATTACK.

Too many sit back, wait, play defense and expect a desired result as if magically it is going to appear...

My coaching advise is this...,

GO AFTER WHAT YOU WANT....

• Align the people you need to get what you want....
• Then, collectively march in that direction!
• That is leadership...
• That is what unity looks like...
• That is what it looks like to be playing offense...

When we allow ourselves to just sit back and hope, wish, and wait- we are in essence not being the alpha in the room...

Now, there are times where this, waiting is required, especially in certain sales/ deal cycles..

But when you are working to make things happen, somebody has to put pressure on the outcome they desire...

That somebody needs to be you.

If you believe everything is just going to align without strategic pressure placed on key objectives and key people you are nuts...

It may occasionally happen- but it will not happen consistently...

I need you to take action today on what is in front of you..

I need you to come home with a fish today.... a victory.

SO, as you get ready to attack, think about what you need to do to make today a big victory!!
