It is Monday.

Ready to attack?
Let's hope so because this week is a new week- a fresh start and it deserves your best.
I took the weekend off and really enjoyed just working at my own pace.....
There is something revitalizing about doing that...
So often we are in a rush...
Running here. Running there. Constantly on the move....
What that does is it causes a lot of unnecessary friction... stress... and pressure...
Making things challenging because now you are not only managing your goals and objectives, but the pressure you have built up as well.
I can not tell you how many individuals I have coached in business and in sport that are so "pressurized" that they spent more time working to calm themselves down than on the business they run, or team they lead.
Now, I do believe a slight bit of pressure is good as it keeps you sharp...
But when the pressure gets so high and you are unable to do your best- that is a problem.
And, if you want to do anything great in this World, it will require you to do and be your best.
If you were to ask yourself: What does my best look like?....
Well, what would it look like?
Write down a few sentences or words that demonstrate you working at your best...
You see, I believe many of us have lost focus on the fact that if we just do an amazing job and work with excitement and passion, while always doing our best, the results will handle themselves.
We have gotten caught up in our culture.
We work a lot, but do not always get a lot done.
We talk a lot, but often our words do not match our output.
We do a lot, but we often can be doing the wrong things.
And, if we are talking a lot, not getting a lot done, and doing the wrong things- we actually think we are working when in fact we are sinking and spinning our wheels.
We are tricking ourselves.
So as we get ready to attack this week, as your Coach, what I want from you is:
Do these things and I guarantee you will have a great week...
How could you not?
It is always us who stand in the way of a great week and max production of quality work...
And remember, always do your best. No shortcuts.
Winners go the extra mile.
