Hey Team! 

Well.. I got my first copies of my new book, Habits of a Champion in my hands this week.... so this has been a week of celebrating my birthday... and signing books!

Now.. what goes with writing a book is also a lot of bookstore signings, speaking to groups, and media appearances to promote the book and inspire readers!

Pretty cool. 

This week I did a show on ESPN Radio with Rob Dibble... former MLB Pitcher... and as I am getting ready to do some on-camera promotions... I had one TV Host tell me that their viewers need simple and snack-able content!

Rather than go deep.... viewers prefer simple, easy to use tips so they can change their life immediately!

That brings me to today's blog!

What can you do ASAP to #becomeachampion and introduce Champion Habits into your life?

So... for today... let's start with Champion Habit #1...(I will give you the rest throughout the week!

5 Ways to Live a Champion Life with Coach Dana Cavalea (HABIT #1):

Eliminate Daily Stressors by “Energy Testing”:People, Environments, Work .. We will identify all stressors in our life and either eliminate them, delegate them, or reframe them.

Goal= eliminate, delegate or reframe. 

It comes down to this... there are certain things, people, and places that make us feel like crap... Case closed.

And.. we have no time for it...

Rather than figure out why....

Let's just accept that we feel this way because of these people, places, things...

And..if we want to eliminate negative stressors... we need to eliminate the above... or delegate the things we hate doing... or change where we are living, working, or being to avoid our environments from taking us down....

In my opinion, most things in life have a shelf life... and the human mind requires and desires change for growth...

If we are not growing... or challenging ourselves.. we can feel very stuck...

Many people are stuck and jammed up today... Why?

They stopped growing...

They got comfortable...

They stopped taking the risks they took as kids...

And that stops now...

Today.

Today we are going to do an exercise where we write down the people, places, and things that steal our energy... and make the changes...

  • If you hate busy work... hire a virtual assistant...
  • If you have employees that are not performing.. talk with them... but also begin to interview for their replacements...
  • If you are feeling unhealthy... lets put together your daily fitness plan...
  • If you  feel stressed.. lets work on getting a de-stress plan in place...
  • If you hate where you live... get in touch with a realtor...
  • If you are struggling with the team you coach or play for... set new standards, go after different types of recruits/players.... change your game....

Let's commit to changing the energy...

It starts with us...
It starts with guts...

You gotta have them...

And I know you do...

That is how we become Champions...
