Hey Team!

Back at it... nice and early today... I had a great book event last night... signing, meeting come  truly great people on the home turf of Long Island...

But.. I wanted to get back with you nice and early with our Champion Habit #2...

Yesterday we talked about Eliminating Stressors... if it stresses us out... people, things, or environments.. we need to eliminate them or delegate them.. SIMPLE!

Today though... we need to talk about our Physical Self...

Champion Habit #2= Improve  Your Physical Health through “A Sweat A day”

Cardio, Weight Training, Sauna, Steam, Hot Bath — Heat your body.

The goal is Sweat- induced by work or temperature. The sweat is showing you your body is metabolically working in a thermogenic state. This state change will also reset your mood...

Question: Have you ever felt bad.. upset, negative, frustrated, stressed... and then you either grab a workout, go for a run, or take a nice shower or bath? What happens?

Surprisingly enough.. your mood changes!

Why? You changed your bodies state and metabolically you changed your game...

You also challenged your body in a way that it "forgot" what it was feeling and focused on.. you gave it a new focus... 

That new focus allows you to get out of a funk.. and into the fire...

I tell people this when I speak... No matter where you are in your health and fitness journey.. it takes no effort to sit in a hot tub, sauna, steam room, or in the sun on a hot day....

Just that temperature change alone is enough to get you started and moving in the right direction...

Now the ambitious are able to take that a step further...

They use that as they warm-up to their training routine... whether that be cardio, weights, bootcamps, yoga, spin, outdoor cycling, running.. you name it!

Get yourself going every, single, day.

I promise you... it is the fastest way to change your mood...and overall health..

Today... most do not move that much... and for this moment.. I want you to look at yourself as an Australian Sheppard... a herding dog.. that is in the house....

What happens? The energy has no place to go... so the dog goes nuts... and when you open that door to let the dog out... BOOM!

The dog explodes out of the gates like Secretariat.....we as people work the same way...

We have to burn the top layer.. of stress and energy... that is why a simple 30 minute walk gets so much attention.....

Go move.

Let's go.
