Hey Team...

Sorry for the intermittent blogs... 

This book, Habits of a Champion, and my coaching clients have me totally wrapped up and strapped for time!

But... today is I had to get a message out to you!

What message?

One that I have been speaking on and preaching like a mad man:

YOUR HEALTH IS SERIOUS BUSINESS...

It is.. probably the most important business there is...

And.. if you treated your body like the business it should be treated like.. you would thrive...

And.. if you treated your mind like the business it should be treated like.. you would thrive...

Now, as somebody that has dealt with high levels of stress... due to life, business, heartbreak, etc.... I realize how important our health is... because stress and bad habits can really ravage our souls.... and cause physical pain on our body...

Been there....

But I do not want that for you...

So what do we do?

We start immediately treating our body and like a FORTUNE 500 .. Company.. showing wall street and all shareholders a positive return and growth quarter over  quarter...

Translation: You start paying attention to your actions and behaviors.. thoughts and words... so that you can grow each day, week, month, and year... and your shareholders (family, friends, employees, co-workers) all want a piece of your stock...because it is soaring right now!

Get it.

Habits.

I always go back to it...

Yesterday.. I instituted an old habit.. that I lost.. and made it new again.. daily reading...

I took 1-hour, sat back on the couch... no phone... and watered my brain with positive, motivational words... no distractions...

Reading chills me out... calms me down.. expands my mind.. and stimulates me positively..

Why did I stop doing something with such positive results?

Distractions. I prioritized other mind numbing things with zero return.. like "looking things up on google"... or scrolling on social channels.. all zero return... 

So.. my lesson today is simple:

1. Identify immediately where you are off track.. doing things that are  taking value rather than bringing value...

2. Stop doing those negative things immediately...

3. Realize negative behaviors compound... they get worse.. your results get worse.. they lead to more negatives...

4. Always be assessing what works for you... and what does not... do what works!

5. Your mental health and physical health are the #1 drivers of results... they always get the first position over everything you have going on.. no matter what!

With that said... get moving every day... get your positive thoughts flowing... enrich your mind.. break boring, lame, redundant habits that are not serving you... put yourself back in first...

That is what Champions do...

You must be selfish to be selfless!
