Hi Team...

Happy Friday...

Happy May 1st!

Time is flying by... 

So, we must make sure we take advantage of the time we have..

We can not waste it. 

Looking back on the week, did you get done everything you wanted to get done?

Did you make those calls you needed to make?

Did you connect with the people you wanted to connect with?

Simple questions... 

Simple answers...

If you are not careful, you will look up and the end of the week will be upon you and you will have not gotten much done even with all the extra time we have been granted during this period...

At the start of each week, I write down all my main objectives on a legal pad that I keep next to my desk and I draw a box next to the objective so I can check it when I am done...

What is unique about this list is, there are no timelines.

It just has to be done by the end of the business on Friday.

You see, we are so dynamic that there are days when we are really productive and days when we are less productive as a result of how we slept, what we ate, environment, and factors that can often be out of our control.

So rather than pressurize yourself and forcing yourself to get everything done in one day.. aka building Rome in a day.. set your objectives and goals for the week...

That way, by weeks end, you can reconcile and know you got it all done....

I adopted this style years ago after realizing I was guilty of always trying to do too much in one day... and it always left me stressed and feeling unsuccessful...

As a result, I had to make a change!

Which leads me to my next point: You can do anything you put your mind to.

Now, there are limitations to this statement...

Like, if you can not hit a 99mph fastball, you probably are not going to the big leagues... 

Or if you can not sing, Broadway is probably not calling your name...

But for anything else.. like getting things done and moving closer to your mission, vision, goals, and dreams... this works...

I alway recommend setting a visual target.. then, begin walking towards it each day...

See  your vision...

Take an action step...

See your vision...

Take another action step...

Everyday.. make that your process...

Just take action and you will feel happier, more fulfilled, and you will live with greater satisfaction knowing you are moving closer to what you put your mind to.

That is what is so great about life...

We can really do anything we put our mind to...

Now, you must be patient and not rush outcomes... but taking those daily steps will bring you closer to goal...

Keep your distractions low and away as best you can... and just keep walking, chopping away, and ultimately, your dream will be in range...

The speed of success is not up to us... but each day, you will get closer and more clarity.. I promise that!

So, as you step into your weekend... keep your mind focused on where it is you are going...

Take a small step today!
