We only get 24hrs in a day. How do you spend those hours?
Many personal development coaches will talk to you about scheduling, planning and maximization of those hours to get more done, to do more and improve your bottom line.
Not today. That is not what this is about.
This writing is about your life. Living it in a way that you are crazy about. Understanding most won't understand. Most will think your thoughts and decisions are borderline "Crazy".
But, there is one person who understands. That person is You.
Every persons path is unique. Filled with ups and downs. This we know and we can be assure of. What we are not completely sure of though is the "right" path for every person.
A persons unique experiences, both good and bad are what shapes their path. These experiences can ignite a dormant passion, cause a complete change in their tracks and launch somebody from a state of "stagnant", repetitive, day to day living: To Thriving.
That is what this writing is about. Thriving. Quitting your life as a redundant wheel of circumstance and reigniting yourself so you can thrive.
Now you don't have to go out and do anything crazy, just find within you the things you would love to do, have not been doing and go do them. Walk to the edge of the diving board and prepare to jump.
Personally, I have spent too many waking hours focusing on the perfect next move, wondering how others have done it and why I have not or at times, felt like I have to do things because that is "just how it is".
When you peel back the onion, outside of natural talent, those who achieve/ get stuff done do something many other are overly frightened to do: Take Action.
The desires and passions to accomplish are greater than their excuses. Their desires and passions are larger than their list of "can-nots".
Just because you went to law school and have been practicing for the past 25 years does not mean that is what you have to do for the duration. Medicine, accounting, finance.. you name it. If you are not feeling passionate about your work anymore, intuitively you know the ship has sailed, it may be time.
Give up the corner office.
Today we encourage you to quit. Quit your repetitive patterns that are not fulfilling you. Quit doing things that are not moving you closer to your goal of "personal satisfaction". Quit saying "yes" when you want to say "no". Start to become the CEO of your life rather than an employee of it. Become the Commander in Chief and start taking action against yourself.
I believe that if more people were truly in love with their life, their choices, their work... there would be a tremendous amount of self-correction as it relates to acute depression and negative thought processes.
Take action. Take action towards better health, career, relationships, conversations and a better life experience. You are the CEO of your life. Begin to envision and feel yourself where you want to be. Be there before you arrive.
By the way, this writing is not exclusively for those stuck at the end of the board and who have not made it yet, but for those who already have made it but are now overanalyzing. Overthinking. Over-strategizing.
