Hi Team...

Yesterday I did a zoom talk for over 200 realtors at Douglas Elliman Realty....

I love speaking to groups and teams like this because they are open, excited, and looking for answers to drive their business to the next level...

What is really cool about the real estate profession is that each realtor is a part of the big brand and a small team, yet, their results are based on what they do...

It is truly an eat what you kill type of profession...

No sales, no cash.

So, as a result, they like to cut through the B.S. so they can learn some tips that can take their game to the next level...

Oh, and in case you have not noticed, the field can be amazingly fun but is very competitive.

My message yesterday was simple: PLAY OFFENSE & ATTACK THE DAY

Having coached many types of people and organizations over the years it is clear that well over 50% of people are not striving for excellence...

They are content...

They are ok with being ok...

So what does that mean to you?

Well, if you do the work, are consistent, and show up with energy and enthusiasm you can find yourself on your way to the top!

I was also really impressed yesterday with a question I got:

Coach, I was in the top-10 of realtors for D.E., but I am not anymore..why do you think that happened and how can I get back?

Amazing question. Amazing humility.

This shows he is already on his way back.

I told him this:

"Many get lazy when they get to the top."

"They, in their mind have made it. They hit the pinnacle. Then, they start living that life and believing their own headlines. That leads to less focus and effort on the fundamentals and more time celebrating who you have become. A recipe for disaster. So, the key is to not only get back in the top 10, go for #1."

Once we have our basic needs taken care of, for many that is enough.

The switch turns off.

But, it can turn back on when those basics are in jeopardy.

Or, the life you want to live is in jeopardy.

Or, that status you want is no longer available to you because you are sliding out of the class as a result of your current results.

Now, I did say that over 50% are lazy....

This gives great opportunity to those with a dream, with a goal, and with a plan....

Each day bring the fire and enthusiasm to what you do...

It will start a fire that will attract people to you....

Those people with either want to be led or be sold...

Make sure you are always delivering and how you show up will make you apart of the 50% looking to grow, or, the 50% that are wondering why they keep getting the same sucky results...

Let's GO!

Your Coach,
