Since it is election day here in the US, I believe it is important to use the word:
Declaration is defined as a formal announcement. An explicit announcement.
My question for you is this:
How often do you declare things in your life?
Your brain begins to interpret the thought, the spoken word, and the emotions alongside as "actual".
It is critical that you get in the habit of declaring what you are about.
I hear so many use words like:
I would like...
This is not declaring...
This is giving yourself an out.
This is giving yourself a safety and creating an environment that "protects" you from failure.
Declarations are scary.
They force you to stick to your word.
A declaration puts you into gear and holds you accountable at your core.
You know what happens when you say you are going to do something and don't do it- you have guilt. That guilt is good. Why? Because by taking action on what you say you are going to do, you immediately get rid of that guilt.
Now, today, DECLARE what you are going to do, who you are going to become, and what you will do with your life.
It is time.
Take the step.
