Hi Team...

Yesterday, I had the chance to speak with CEO Ron Holt, who founded the franchise 2 Maids and a Mop...

We had a great time recording for his podcast....

And, well, he was a former baseball player as well so there were multiple points of connectivity between us!

What I loved most about what Ron spoke about was his "How I Got Started Story"... which is always fun to hear when a founder starts at ZERO and eventually gets to 75+ franchises in a fairly short period of time....

Ron needed 150k to get his dream started.....

So, like a true, focused Entrepreneur, he got to work....

Starting with his vision: BUILD THE LARGEST FRANCHISE OF HOME CLEANING SPECIALISTS IN THE US and DISRUPT THE CURRENT INDUSTRY...

Next, his raising capital plan: Ron needed 150k to make his Company come to life. He figured based on his current earnings, he would go to the bank every Friday with $330 and make a deposit.

Being Disciplined: He did this not for a year, two years, or three years... but for seven years! Now, that is discipline, focus, and commitment to a vision.

At the end of the 7 years, between his deposits and interest earned, he was at his number of 150k.

Amazing, right?

Most people do not have discipline for more than the month of January....

Most people would have had three to ten visions in 7 years...

Most people would have quit looking at the mountain in front of them....

Most people would have gone off course and spend that money somewhere along that 7-year journey...

Well, Ron is not most people.

That is why today his brand, 2 MAIDS AND A MOP is flourishing...

He focused on the basic concept(s) of:

SUCCESS OVER TIME.

THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS IMMEDIATE GRATIFICATION

Once these were understood, he got focused on his plan, his process (deposits), and then he worked his process.

Growing financially each week, getting closer to goal.

Growing a man each week, getting closer to who he needed to become to lead this enterprise.

Growing as an Entrepreneur each week, getting the key lessons of focus, discipline, and patience pounded into him through this 7-year process.

How can you apply this to your life?

Where are you jumpy?

Where are your expectations too high and timelines too fast for where you are in your life, your ability/ skill set, and process?

Take a few minutes today to answer these questions....

You will find some levels of relief and calm come over you when you can slow the pace, extend the timelines, yet, through your process know you are covering ground each day, week, month, and year.

Let's GO!
