Happy Monday....

I wanted to share something with you today about my weekend...

Ready?

Well- first off... no work... gotta recover and recharge.. and so many today have one continuous work week going on....

It is really a recipe for quick burnout...

Even though the culture says it is OK to work a HARD-7 (Days)... it is not good for your body and mind....

Do you ever have days, weeks, months, or periods of time where you are short on fresh ideas?ย 

You miss being a porous sponge like you were when you were a kid- constantly learning new things and feeling renewed because of it?

Listen- it is common!

For many adults in the Professional World, the routine of WORK & SLEEP & REPEAT allows for very little time for renewal and thought regeneration...

So how do we course correct?

Simple.

#1: START WITH YOUR ENVIRONMENT...

This weekend, I spent the time renewing my office.

New shelving, new pictures, moving things around, changing the angle of my desk.

I know, it sounds simple and maybe even a little dumb/ obvious.

But, it changed not only the vibe of the office- but, my vibe.

My mind knows something is different and it likes it!

I didn't need to go to FIJI or the Bahamas for renewal- I did it right here at home base and you can too!

This week- change something up. Order new pictures, new frames, a new desk, whatever you have to do.. just change it up!

#2: START WITH YOUR HABITS, ROUTINES, AND PATTERNS...

How many of you wake up and grab your phone?

How many of you have the exact same routine each day?

How many of you take the same train or exact route to work each day?

Change that up man!

Simple changes. Change your soap, your shampoo, your cologne or perfume, your hairbrush or product...

Again, I know you may be thinking I am nuts by now... but this stuff really works..

All of these little change are shocking the body and mind... and forcing adaptation in even the smallest of ways...

I want this week to be one of "freshening up" for you...

It begins by changing your order at the same restaurant you eat at for lunch...

Trying new things, doing new things, and ultimately becoming a better version of YOU!

**You can always go back to those other things... but for today, try some vanilla instead of chocolate in your protein shake ๐Ÿ˜..
