Hi Team!

Well- the cows are doing well :)

Last night we picked up another 13 of them....

It was quite a lot of work packing them in the trailer- but we got em!

I will post a picture tomorrow....

For today though, we are talking Schedule Management.

You know, most of us are given two choices...

1. Manage Our Schedule

2. Let Our Schedule Manage Us.

We must choose #1 every single time or we will be left feeling:

  • Like we have no personal time
  • Like we are always running around
  • Like we have not time to get important things done
  • Like we are just so busy all the time
  • Like we are just not focused, or productive

And, we can look at that list an quickly realize it is not a list of Champion behaviors.

If we want to live well, and feel free, productive, organized, and in-control, we must manage our schedule well.

We do that by valuing our time AND knowing which activities give us energy and which take it away.

Realizing quickly that if we give our time to one thing, we are not giving it to something else.

Yesterday morning I did a presentation for about 30 individual managers in the Country Club Management Space- we talked about controlling our schedule so we can control our outcomes- making them as close to predictable as possible.

So many today get side tracked, knocked off course, and very quickly drift from their goals and their IPAs or income producing activities. 

When we drift, we fail.

When we delusionally think we can finally achieve something we never achieved before without being coached, taught, and held accountable to the new habits we need in order to win-  we will almost always fail.

I can not tell you how many individuals I come across that just can not stay consistent.

They battle consistency.

They battle holding themselves accountable.

This person always loses.

If it is a battle- you lost.


Because there is too much head wind and resistance for you to manage your entire schedule alone and not lay out a winning game-plan that includes activities you actually enjoy, actions/ behaviors that are fully aligned to your desired outcomes, and a schedule that most importantly includes only high yield action and activities.

So, as you sit in front of your calendar today and do a "Review"- take a look at where you are spending your time.

Are you doing a lot of "stuff"- or, are you doing just the right amount of things that are set up to be high yield when performed day in and day out?

Folks- we must grab hold of our schedules. 

When I coach high performers or aspiring high performers, the first thing we do is dive into their schedule and see where they are spending or wasting time.

From there, we rebuild their schedule and set them up to win, BIG.

I want that for you.

You need that for you.

It is time to stop feeling stretched and start playing high levels of offense on your day and life.
