Hey Team-

Energy.

Ah... when you have it.. man you can take on the world!

Sports. Business. Family Life. You name it... when that energy meter is on high.. nobody can stop you!

It is a precious resource... and if you want to be a Champion... you need that energy day after day...

The person that has the most sustainable energy... is the winner!

Nothing worse than being tired at that game... and that big meeting.. or when it is family night...

Right?

You remember those yawns that are so deep you took the air out of the room!

We all can...

I remember those days playing against the Tampa Rays in the evening.. and having to fly across the country to Seattle to play the Mariners.. those were tough days.. but you gotta know how to handle them...

I want to share some of my ENERGY secrets with you!

#1: Cold Water is your best friend.... (When you feel tired, Take a Cold Shower... almost intolerably cold... it will spark your nervous system... and it works)

#2: 101 Diaphragmatic Breathing... over the course of 10 breaths, Breath in Hard and Out Hard, 1 second in, 1 second out.. almost like you are voluntarily hyperventilating.. 

#3: Cardio... Anaerobic... Jump-Starting Your Heart is everything.. especially when combined with the above... whether it be sprints of 10-15seconds on a bike, treadmill, or outside... or jumping jacks or in-place runs.. doing 10 sets here will SPARK you...

#4: Caffeine... shot of expresso, green tea.. whatever you prefer.. this is a cherry on top...

#5: Ice Cold Water as a Beverage... Drink an 8oz glass of cold water... 

These 5 Tips work....

Do them in order and watch the magic happen.... 

Sitting in some sunshine also helps especially if you are in the gray, dismal northeast... and if you can not get real sun... keeping a sun lamp at your desk or at home will help replicate the "Sun Feeling"....

Energy baby!

Without it.. you got nothing... 

I don't care how smart you are... you can be beat without the ENERGY!
