Hi Team...

Happy Friday....

Monday we welcome in March 1st... can you believe it?

Time waits for nobody... and that brings me to todays message: We Either Make Time Work For Us... Or, Against Us...

Hear me out.....

This past week I was speaking with my friend Drew Manning...

Drew created a brand called Fit to Fat to Fit- where he went from 187lbs. up to 244lbs. in less that six months to show people how quickly the body could change with higher calories, no movement or exercise, and frankly bad habits...

Now, he is showing them how to lose that weight over 6 months.. and how gradual changes can can get the body back into alignment and the body will naturally adjust and junk the bad weight....

I say this because one of the main things we discussed in our talk was:

How does IT happen?

How do people find themselves 10,20,30,40+ pounds overweight?

And, we came up with the conclusion that "it happens over time".....

3lbs. per year x 10 years = 30lbs.

4lbs. per year x 10 years = 40lbs.

5lbs. per year x 10 years = 50lbs.

Again, a few pounds a year is no big deal... but maybe it is (over-time)... since the habits and patterns that allowed this gain are what allow the path to the next few pounds to continue...

The same is true with anything...

Finances... 

Spending a few extra bucks each month x year after year could be thousands to millions when stretched out over time with an interest rate attached...

That money you are blowing and not investing has a cost (over-time)...

Or, all those years you put other things first before your relationships.... 

Before you know it you are 40, 50, 60 and alone... or, you forgot what a good relationship feels like because you put everything else first... this has a cost (over-time)...

Got it?

That reminds me of ballplayers that tell me they only chew tobacco during games... but never outside of games...

I reminded them that we play 162 games per year + 30 in Spring Training + Playoffs....

That is over 200 games...

200 games using tobacco means you spend more than half of your year using the product....

It is a problem... (over-time)....

Now, I spoke the problems.. but the solutions also work (over-time)....

  • Eat clean day in and day out... and, you have the body you want (over-time)....
  • Save enough cash month over month and do not accumulate debt... and, you have the savings you want (over-time)....
  • Spend quality time with your family without being on your phone or other devices..and you will have the relationships you desire (over-time)....

It really is that simple.

What we focus on and give priority too will determine out outcomes....

Our habits will determine our outcomes...

It all matters...

Now, lets go into this last month of the first quarter and win this sucker!
