Hope you had a great weekend!
This weekend I listened to an amazing talk from a man name Todd Mullins.
It was very simple.
He was speaking about getting things done, overcoming yourself, and getting yourself out of your own way....
I wanted to share it with you.
Do you have something on your mind that you have been wanting to do for a while now?
Do you find yourself doing the same things each day... even if they are not serving you?
Maybe, you are feeling stressed, alone, frustrated, unhappy, or a combination of things.
Maybe, you don't feel any of those things, are really excited, READY, but are not seeing the results of your positive attitude...
What is it?
You see, every action you take or do not take has a consequence or results.
Positive or negative. Closer to goal or further from it.
When we can STACK our actions that are positive, our results compound and that means we have a profitable process that is taking us closer to our visions.
Translated to when we do more of the right things (without overthinking), we have the best chance of winning.
I always say, when you are feeling stuck, jammed, or not making progress, remember, doing nothing is an action.
Over-planning is an action.
Thinking is an action.
But these are often those EDAs I speak of (or energy draining activities) and not your IPA's (or income producing activities).
You see, we only get paid on things that come to life.
Ideas, dreams, goals-- they are all invisible to the world until you bring them to life.
Not that they can not be real, but YOU MUST TAKE ACTION.
These are the actions that lead to greatness when done day in and day out.
You have the ability-- now you must have the focused actions.
Exercise:Write down everything that you do that takes away from focused actions and JUST STOP DOING THEM.
So, as you get ready to ATTACK Monday...
Get up, get dressed, get going.
Do not waste time. We only have so much of it.
