Two days ago I interviewed my friend, Gabby Reece.
She was a superstar pro volleyball player in the 90s and has gone on to become just a well recognized figure in sports, motivation, empowerment, and a true leader to many....
After listening to the interview a few times, what I believe gives her such strength is that she knows who she is....
She knows what she wants, what she needs, and what is right for her...
How many of us spend too much time wondering what is good or right for us?
What if you knew what was right for you and used that as your chief decision making tool?
Gabby shared with me that everything we do should feel right.
Not only feel right, but the people should be right, the deal should be right, everything around IT should be right....
And even then, only step forward on IT if it is right.
This was really powerful because too often we are adapting to rooms, to people, to the World and as a result, it takes our power away.
Our belief is in question.
Our conviction is questioned.
As a result, over time, with enough PARTIAL decisions, over ALL-IN decisions, we can weaken ourselves and our convicted, decision making muscles.
The more you can walk into, step into what you believe, the better you are going to be.
So always trust your gut and instincts.
Don't do things for the applause, do what is right, and feels right to you.
