So.. yesterday I was doing a photo shoot for a new project I have going on in the space of Senior Fitness and Home-CARE...

As I was wrapping up the shoot.. the name TOM BRADYcame up...

And when the name Tom Brady comes up.. aside from being a tremendous football player and leader of the New England Patriots.. his DIET and overall TRAINING has to be discussed..

Now as great as he is at football (high level talent).. that does not give him the place (maybe the platform) to discuss nutrition RIGHTS vs. WRONGS with people.. 

So here is today's rant...


In the extremist World we live in today of: No dairy, soy, wheat, grain, gluten, blah blah blah...DETOX and Caloric Restriction does not work for long term weight loss.

There are actually people that roam the Earth next to us.. that do not react the same way to food as "we" do.. 

Maybe for TOM BRADY; strawberries are BAD.. and tomatoes.. BUT..

That is not the case for everybody!

Generalizing is dangerous.. 

The best way to learn what foods are NOT WORKING for you is to try ELIMINATION.. 

Meaning.. if you eat dairy and then bloat out.. try not eating it for a week and see how you feel...

Or perhaps you eat a piece of bread or a dish of pasta and bloat out and have gastric distress-- try not eating it or eat an alternative..

At that point... and only that point can you begin to shape and create the EATING STRATEGY that works for you!

Although Tommy doesn't like Strawberries.. I love them.. and I feel great when I eat them.. 

So let's cut the non-sense and ditch the overkill marketing, dietary fads, celebrity nutritionists and start becoming our own health coaches.. 

Only you know what makes you feel GREAT and Terrible.. Trust your gut and save your money.
