Back in the day... my mother told me about a guy by the name of Zig Ziglar.. 

As a kid, whenever you hear a name like that, you just gotta look it up..

What did I find?

I found a man from TEXAS that was loaded with passion and excitement..

Now as a young baseball player learning how to deal with struggle and overcoming negative.. Zig was just what I needed..

I would even go as far as saying he INSPIRED me to do what I do today..

What I love most about what I do is that I receive e-mails from people all the time that are struggling with overcoming the trials and tribulations of life.. 

Dealing with situations that are taking them over at the moment.. then providing them with tools and perspectives to help them overcome their case of STINKING THINKING..

You see, it is so easy to get in a thinking rut.. and putting to much emphasis on the negative things around us..

It is easy to see the worst case scenario in situations.. we are all guilty at times..

But, I always say, overcoming STINKING THINKING is a trained event.. 

You have to let your net catch these thoughts before they penetrate you subconscious mind and become your new reality.. 

Protect your eyes and ears... and most importantly your thought life.. 

When a negative hits.. look for a positive.. spin the situation... REFRAME IT.. 

Optimists WIN.. Negative mindsets will cost you big... 

A negative mind will take you out of the game before it begins..

So.. my suggestion is this:

1. When your mind goes NEGATIVE.. Immediately start thinking about and naming all those positive things you have in your life currently, have had in your life, and will have in your life...

2. Create a PHYSICAL response that initiates a change of thought.. Personally.. when I have a negative thought.. I either clap my hands to change my physiology.. OR I tap my thighs.. By engaging your physiology.. you switch the focus from your mind to your body...

These are 2 simple tools you can add to your BOX.. 

When negative comes.... DEPLOY your tools... 

Bathing in your "woe is me" attitude and thoughts will only amplify the negatives..
