Yesterday, I was listening to a Superbowl Sunday message by former Eagles Head Coach, Doug Pederson.
The message was simple: BE ON THE ATTACK.
He called a play back in 2018 called the Philly Special that would end up being a risky play, a trick play in fact that worked- allowing his team to defeat the Patriots that year.
BE ON THE ATTACK.
A powerful message for all that tells us not to sit back and "see what happens" but instead go after what you want.
In this newsletter I talk a lot about Dominance- and how dominance can get you where you want and take you to levels you have not been before.
This philosophy is based on this principle:
People need to be told what to do.
They do.
It is how most are raised and we are in a life system that supports that.
The key is "how" you tell them what to do.
Do you bark, scream, and yell?
Or, do you teach them by showing them what is possible for them if they do what you say.
Dominance is not about force- it is about control.
It is about controlling a message that is to the benefit of the person receiving it and also the person giving it.
When you think about your teams today, those you lead, those you work with- how can you exude dominance?
How can you go on the attack today?
The first step is elevating your personal belief in yourself and the message you want to deliver.
The only way you can take step 1 is if you are super clear on what it is you want to do, why you want to do it, and are 100% convicted.
You can train yourself to get to this place by practicing getting there through your posture, your language, and your thoughts.
Today, I want you to go on the attack.
Lets make something happen this week!
