Hey Team!
Ok.. we are pounding through this week...
I had a really exciting day speaking to a financial tech company yesterday in NYC.. called NOVUS..
What I loved about them is their open-ness to take the game of their employees to the next level...
We talked about routines- both morning and evening.. the power of consistency.. and most importantly focusing and creating your personal mission, vision, and goals... which will keep you moving forward each day... (motivated and inspired)..
And.. giving some props to my wife.. last Saturday night.. she really put herself out there as she is re-chasing her passion... of being on-camera talent for a large media outlet...
But Saturday night, I learned not only about my wife's "guts"... to put herself out there.. but I learned about one of the all-time great music stars of the 70s... STING...
I had the chance to meet him... up close and personal.. and wow! This guy is in phenomenal shape..
66 years old.. and is truly a work of physical art....
You can tell he puts the work in...
You can tell he loves being on stage and wants to do this forever..
You can tell he realizes the connection between the two above statements...
STING has a clear goal, vision, and mission.. and all his actions align...
An intense daily YOGA routine along with eating a MACROBIOTIC DIET which focuses on ancient whole grains, beans, fruits, and vegetables... with very little animal product if any...
Now.. this does not mean you should do this tomorrow.. YOU ARE NOT STING..
YOU are you... and we must always remember that..
But.. the lesson here is that you need to find your obsession... and build your health plan to support it...
Athletes typically eat well because they need to keep their lean mass up.. and weight down... that is their motivation.. when they retire.. it must be reset and refocused... their WHY/ MISSION/ VISION and GOALS need adjusting...
Same for you...
What type of exercises feel great for your body?
What type of foods feel great to your system?
How many hours of sleep per night are ideal?
When is the best time for you to not eat before bed so you feel great sleeping?
What foods cause a negative reaction?
What is the best time for you to go to bed and wake up restful?
It is all about you....
One of the young ladies at my seminar today said she read in a book.. if you do not wake up before 5 you are basically a loser...
Not true.
You need to develop plans and routines that work for you!
YOU!
YOU!
YOU!
We are all individual and unique... it is our job as individuals to find the best routines for us.. so we can play ROCK AND ROLL until our hearts final downbeat...
Start the discovery process today...
Then.. take notes.. and start building your plans...
