Hi Team...
Over the past few days I have been doing some LIVE Facebook Speaking/ Coaching...
I am sensing a real fork in the road for many....
There are 2-Groups out there right now...
1. Is there a virus going on?
2. This virus may get me and my family... (PANIC MODE)
And that is OK...
BOTH are very fair emotions....
Some people choose denial in times like these because it helps them cope....
Others, focus on the magnitude of the situation and do everything possible to prevent exposure..
There is an issue with both sides of the coin though....
Those that live in denial may make bad choices because they are missing something MAJOR in their blindspot.....
Those that live in panic often become so hyper-focused on this NEGATIVE that they can only see that...
Everything else is secondary.. and living in this FEAR state can cost them their health, happiness, and, may even be the thing that brings them closer to what they want to avoid...
So what do we do?
1. We acknowledge what is going on.... Acknowledgement lets us know that there is a legitimate threat out there... it is sort of a reality check.
2. We ask ourselves what we can control right now? When we are focused on the control-ables, that allows us to channel our personal power and strength in the forward direction... (towards our mission, vision, and goals)...
3. We visualize and manifest health and the situation we desire to create and have happen.... For many, this may seem far fetched, but, it is proven technique amongst high performers... They see their outcomes before they actually happen..
These 3-steps work in any time of stress or crisis...
They allow you to move forward amongst any situational chaos....
They give you faith, power, focus, and the endurance needed to endure anything that comes your way....
We combat that by addressing that weakness... and working to understand it, better it, and the knowingness alone that we are "improving" will make that personality trait more of a strength than a weakness...
We also combat that by reducing the "pressure"... which is what today's writing is about...
Using a 3-Step Method like the above allows you to live today at your best...
Things around you may not be "great".. but you see greatness...
You see possibility...
You are hopeful....
You are excited...
You are ready to take on what is in front of you today...
FEAR Combat also must include less focus on the uncontrollable future.. and a doubling down on your actions today which are a bridge to the future you desire to create......
That is all we can do...
Focus on today.
Focus on now.
Focus on your daily objective.
When you do this, you become centralized... you become singular... and in that place of being.. you become more calm....
Think about the times in your life when you were out of control....
These are the states we are overcoming by following the 3-Steps Above...
Now, let's go do something great today....
