You Must First ____________ To Do Anything Great!

Hi Team....

I have to let you know this today.....

In order to do anything great, you must first BELIEVE in what it is you are doing!

Too often, we allow others to push us and our ideas around.

At a huge cost.

Our own self-esteem, dreams, ideas, and also, the desire to bring an idea to life, not matter how big or how small that can help people.

I have no interest in going to space- but, Richard Branson did.

So, he took action and now achieved his dream.

For him, his grandchildren, and anybody else that wants to go to space.

He took an idea and made it a reality.

Think about some of the other brands and their stories your drive past each and every day.

What if those people quit because of what others said.

We would not have so many of the great restaurants, shops, and technologies that we enjoy!

How about Papa John?

We sat down last week (click here to watch) and he too met plenty of resistance- but, he kept on pushing with the intention of disrupting an entire category, pizza, going up against some HUGE players.

He did it.

He had a dream and went for it.

Remember this: Whenever you are looking to bring something that has not yet been seen or accepted by the masses to life, you WILL meet some resistance.

That is ok!

Just keep going.

This does not have to be a revolutionary concept.

It could even mean a new way of leading or managing within an Organization that has always been doing things a certain way.

You are there now to "shake it up" with your new style and way of doing things!

Believe in that.

Believe in you.

And when you do- great things will come, eventually.

I remember when I took over performance coaching at the Yankees.

I took all the ice cream, candy, soda, and chips out of the clubhouse dining area.

Some players freaked out.

Then, it stuck.

I gave them one day per week where we put out the goodies.

As a result, the next thing you know, there was a mobile salad bar on the plane.

We became healthier as an organization because one person took a chance.

Today, I want you to take a chance.

Believe in yourself and push some boundaries.

Start with your own boundaries.

That is where success begins- within you.

Now, go get it today.

Bring your dream to life!
