My favorite board game is and always will be Monopoly. I live my life in a lot of ways like a Monopoly board..trying to acquiring more and more key "nuggets" of real estate, businesses, lessons, and knowledge as I go though my turn at the game of life.
Monopoly can teach us some great lessons about when to leverage our time and money, when to hold and be a conservative, and when to "strike" while others are on the ropes.. but most importantly, Monopoly teaches us that slow and steady, alongside strategic moves will lead to Victory.
Sometimes- we are even taught that we need to sell and mortgage things, even when we do not want to in order to move ourselves and our plans forward.
Tremendous lessons. How often do we embark on journey we think is going to be great, that is met with resistance, pain, and a hemorrhage of cash, time, and relationships...
If it has happened to you, don't worry- we have all been there.
The key is to focus on your "gut" feelings, you mission, and your passion. The body is incredible in that it has this innate ability to tell you what will be right and what will be wrong... never doubt the feeling because it is your internal compass- and will liberate you.
Going against your compass and "gut" will take you into some very dangerous waters- making you feel like a life raft in the middle of the stormy Pacific.
When you are guided by intuition, you can never go wrong or make a bad decision- because you were in flow with yourself- and not going against your own gut. This does not guarantee a perfect journey- but it does represent a convicted decision.
If you follow your passion and purpose you will win in the end. Profits come to those that approach things with conviction, clarity, purpose, and passion.. so quiet the noise so you can hear/ feel those voices that provide your internal intelligence...#TrainLikeAPro
