Hey Team!

Yesterday morning I was training one of my clients, Brandon, and we were talking about "winning" and we were talking about "success" and "achievement"..

These are some of my favorite topics to talk about...

And this conversation was a lot of fun...

We addressed these topics between our sets of weight training... pushup (talk), squat (talk).... haha...

But, Brandon, a true Brooklyn Boy who is now in his 60s is a hard-charger... flying here, flying there, attending meetings all day... you name it.. he is always on the move...

And it works for him....

But.. it does not work for me..

Why?

Purpose. My purpose and Brandons are different.... He is a master of branding and PR... 

I... on the other hand... am more into less relationships... but very purposeful ones... so my requirement to "get out there" is not as great as his.....

Pace. Because our purpose is different, my pace can be slower than his... and therefore, I have to do less in a given day in regards to "getting out there" than he would have to do....

Capacity. We all have different capacities. Meaning, if I were to work his schedule, I would probably burn-out quickly.. and if he were to do mine, he would be bored to death.

You see, it is so important that you recognize the type of player you are...

With my athlete clients, we speak on this heavily.. Why?

Because if you are a singles and doubles hitter trying to hit homers.. you will never feel fulfilled and like you are doing your job... and that is because you aren't.

You must know the type of player you are.

That is the key to sports, life, and business..

You must know the type of player you are.

This is critical. 

The type of player YOU are..

You gotta know you.

And that starts with defining your goals, mission, and wins.

Definite it.

Spend the time thinking about what it is YOU want to accomplish and achieve.. and by doing that.. you will know the path YOU must take in order to win big for you, your team, and family.

Simple.

Know your purpose.

Know your pace.

Know your capacity.

Get to work!
