Is increasing your muscle mass bad?
Women are petrified of increasing their lean muscle mass in fear of looking to manly. (although this can never happen without performance enhancing drugs)
Older men have accepted their best days are behind them from a "muscular" standpoint.
This is the sad reality of many. We create these "blocks" and then we actually believe them as reality. But the reality is, these are only your realities if you believe them to be.
What if I told you increasing your lean mass/ muscle would accelerate that metabolism you so badly want sped up?
Or, it would tighten your under-arms and reduce that overall "sagging" on both men and women?
What if I told you increasing your lean mass would overhaul your aging confidence and inspire you to do more?
Bone mass reduction or osteoporosis risk factors would be dramatically reduced with weight training weekly.
For the record, when I mention weight training, I am not speaking of 3-5lb. weights that are being pumped in your local Jazzercise Class, but real iron. Real weights.
Real weights alongside a real program that is designed to increase lean mass, improve contractile strength and ability of muscle and weight that will re-shape your body.
How great would it be to look in the mirror as you passed your 30 year old prime and see weekly improvements?
That is what life is about. Challenging your own status quo and blowing through the barriers that society creates.
My invite to you is to begin a structured, progressive weight training program that is challenging, yet safe immediately.
The program should focus on a combination of total body, functional lifts along with isolated work. Training movements such as squats, squat to presses along with isolated pec work to continue shaping.
I will start to present you with functional programs and videos that you can use, but the premise of todays writing is "mind expansion" and providing you with an awareness that you can change.
As your body begins to change for the better, everything else goes with it. In a culture that is hyper-focused on psychology and "feelings"/ expression, lets work to tap into improvement in these areas by jump-starting your physiology.
My whole philosophy is based on your physicality driving your mentality, then your mentality can drive your physicality. How productive, confident, happy, secure or motivated could you possibly be if you are 20-30lbs over weight, with a gut and a body that is in day to day pain?
Body improvement. Shaping. Tone. Strength. Power. Competitive Fire.
Once you get your train on the right track, that is when your inspiration and motivation meter will continue to climb, creating wicked self-confidence, energy and personal satisfaction.
Take on the challenge and eliminate start training, not exercising.#likeapro#mtfu
