Hi Team...

Hope you had an awesome weekend!

To start the week, I want to share some secret sauce with you.

This is a secret that anybody that achieved massive success knows, but, may not consciously practice.

But, if you were to get intentional about this, you can do even more amazing.

I think we could all agree that knowledge is important, right?

Well, that is true.

But, only partially.

I say this because there are many people who know a lot, just not about one or two particular subject matters or markets.

Think about people you know who are well read, or, are scholar yet do not have amazing results in life.

They are well spoken, are articulate, yet, they just have never reached the pinnacle of success in their career, business, or work.

What is the deal with that?

Well, it is what I call the syndrome of VAST KNOWLEDGE.

Meaning they know too much about too many things but are not specialized, or masters of anything.

Think about it like this.

We will use real estate, one of my personal passions as an example.

Let's say a real estate person knows that "the market" is hot right now.

They are generalizing that the entire US market is on fire right now and they are able to repeat stats related to that statement above to validate their claim.

But, they do not know about the nitty gritty of any specific markets.

They are generalists rather than specialists.

Now, let's talk to person B.

They too are into real estate.

They are not aware of the trends across the country, but, they know exactly what is going on in Greenwich, CT- specifically all the homes within 2.5 miles of Greenwich Ave.

And, by the way, they are the #1 sales person and investor in that particular sliver.

They know the retail stores that are coming and going, the pulse and vibe of the people, they hear about homes coming on the market before they hit the MLS, etc.

Can you see the difference?

Well, this is true in everything.

We do not need to know everything, but, we need to know everything about one particular thing.

If you are a a trader, what kind of trader are you?

Do you know everything about the markets you are trading?

Being a generalist is the fastest way to fail, or, better yet never meet max potential- which means, there is a tremendous cost.

Think about a GP doctor vs. a Spinal Specialist.

Who is the bigger earner?

The Spinal Specialist of course.

Specialization is really just high knowledge in 1-particular subject manner, not all subjects.

Specialists get rewarded because their specialized knowledge always leads to conviction.

I also like to apply this to coaching.

I am focused 100% on a persons Habits & Closing Their Gaps in Life- therefore, I am the best at it.

That is it.

I help people go from where they are to where they want to be as it relates to their physical and mental performance.

That is what I do.

All day long.

What do you do all day long?

Or, are you doing everything?

Be a highly knowledgeable specialist- not a generalist.

You will be thrilled you make the choice to be a genius at one thing.

Now- go hit it.

Study up!
